Manufactured from close-grained cast iron the vice features a steel main screw guide rods and handle that are chrome plated for increased resistance to corrosion. The body and sliding jaw have provisions for attaching wooden liners to protect the vice the workpiece and the working tools. The vice jaws are equipped with a TOE-IN feature that ensures even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece when fully closed.
